How Our Artists Program Works

Our Artist Program is a collaborative effort.

The steps are simple and the compensation can be an awesome boost to your income.

How it works

  1. Firstly, you submit your ideas thru our handy artist contact form which includes an area to upload your design image. At this time we are accepting art for a 2-Color Silk-screen reproduction method. The art should be submitted as Adobe .AI files or Vector PDF’s. If you are not able to supply art in a finished format, don’t sweat it, we have a staff that can convert most art to the proper format.
  2. Next, the review committee at Upward Apparel will review ALL art submissions. You will be notified that your design is in the review process. Once the process is complete (approximately 2 weeks) we will notify you if your design is/is not accepted for production.
  3. If your design is accepted, we will forward our standard Contract/Compensation Package. We offer our co-op artist an amazing compensation package that runs the full length of time the design is being sold on our site.
  4. Upon approved return of the Contract/Compensation Package, we will finalize your design and place it into production. Once a test printing is completed and approved, we will photograph the design on our model staff.
  5. We will then market the design across our media channels to generate sales.
  6. We will collect the sales and produce the design to fulfill orders received.
  7. Our Accounting office will validate all sales and distribute compensation on a quarterly basis.
